Imagine Pack

The current segment of Pointing About Town finds us at our own building, Tri-Main Center, with Imagine Pack and their two (2) affiliates, Stag Pack, and Mafia Pack, founded by Mike Austin, Tom Walsh, and Noah Huard.  The companies provide customized gift-packs and promotional products for businesses, fundraising, and special occasions.

A few months ago, when we began shifting the look of our website and branding to reflect our Making A Point Blog, we asked our Brand Manager to order a few tumblers like the ones we had ordered at the onset of the company in 2019.  Well, you know the drill, Post-Pandemic, ‘those are out of stock and not sure when, or if, they will be back in stock.’  We really liked our current tumblers but only had one left so we needed more to help launch the rebranding of Illuminate.

As luck would have it, our Brand Manager, who also has office space in the Tri-Main Center, happened to see Jessica Huard, Imagine Pack’s Director of Marketing, in the building.  Neither had any idea that the other was a tenant in the building and had known one another through softball.  After an exchange of business cards, my Brand Manager asked me if I wanted to try out the new company for new tumblers.  What did I have to lose, so I said yes.

Through this stroke of luck and a chance hallway meeting, the new tumblers, fleece jackets, and fleece lined hats for marketing our weekly blog were born!  We have been so impressed by the product offering, the quality, the timeliness, and the follow-up of Imagine Pack, that we cannot ‘imagine’ going anywhere else now!

Their backstory is a bit like our chance meeting, a need drove them to take unplanned action and, in their case, create a company.  When one of the founding partners was getting married in 2015, one thing became quite clear: there needed to be an “easy button” that provided both groomsmen gifts and bachelor party prizes to support a groom’s wedding related needs. Stag Pack, LLC was born with the groom and his party in mind. They began operating out of Tom Walsh’s house. After much brainstorming, a very unique packaging style was created to make conveniently pre-assembled, personalized gift-pack that anyone would love to own, or a prize that could be proudly displayed.

It was due to this unique packaging style that Stag Pack was approached to supply gifts for golfers who were participating ina local charity event. Upon being asked if they could use the charity’s logo to decorate the box and items inside, the concept of providing uniquely personalized gift-packs, not just for groomsmen, but for any person, company or special occasion, was conceived. With their new found ability to offer a catalogue of items that could be custom-branded toward any budget, individual, business or event, Imagine Pack, a second company created to properly service this audience, was built with its true vision in mind: “Pack Your Imagination.”

In 2021, Imagine Pack found itself in a very fortunate position to help SUNY Fredonia with creating commencement gifts for its students, who were not able to experience a proper graduation, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While this was an extraordinary opportunity for the growth of the business, itrequired a large physical expansion with the need for more space. Poor Tom had filled his attic, garage, basement, and every other room in the house with supplies to operate. Taking on this project meant they had to find commercial space.

With its loading dock for easy shipping and available space for future growth, The Tri-Main Center made for an easy decision to locate their new homebase. With the addition of Mafia Pack, a third company they formed in 2022 that specializes in Buffalo Bills & Bills Mafia limited-edition fan gear, they have high-hopes to continue to expand and provide exceptional gift packs and services for all audiences in the future.

You can order your very own customized fleece hats, jackets, t-shirts, pens, tumblers, bags or anything else you wish to embroider your logo on by perusing their extensive online catalog at https://imaginepack.com.  If you wish to see some of the items they have produced for Making A Point, visit Daisy’s Doghouse on Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, who is selling hats and tumblers for us.  We have been so pleased with them and their work and we hope you will be as well!

Make it a Point to give Imagine Pack/Stag Pack/Mafia Pack a try the next time you find yourself wanting to customize items for your business, soccer team, wedding, fundraiser, or any event. The sky appears to be the limit with them!  And, remember to tell them, The Marquis sent you!
