Continuing our theme of featuring companies we work with and are also tenants in our building, this week’s Pointing About Town finds us at Get Fresh Industries. We have been clients of theirs since the inception of Illuminate and continue today.
Get Fresh Industries began in 2014, founded by Cara Donahue. Cara began her design career after graduating from Buffalo State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After a few years working for another local design firm, she decided to start her own business, incorporating both interior desgin and graphic design work. We have written extensively in our Blog about the drive, desire, passion, and talent it takes to start and run your own business. Cara exemplifies this behavior!
We were referred to Cara’s firm when we were in the the concept phase of Illuminate. She helped bring to light our logo, our website, and, most importantly, our Brand. She has been instrumental with additional logos for IWON (Illuminate Women Owners Network) and now our Blog, Making A Point. If you have been on our website, all of that is the creation of Cara’s. It is simple and beautiful, in our biased opinion. She is very easy to work with and her knowledge and design work are some of the best we have found.
Get Fresh describes itself as a boutique design studio. I was fascinated by their name when I was first referred to them. Their belief is that design never quits, and needs to stay relevant, brands need to be kept fresh. Their name is a play on that concept and is the core of their business mission. They grow with their clients and continuously update their visual assets to align with their evolving business goals. My firm is an excellent example of this. As we added more programs, Get Fresh was there to curate and keep designing. Response time and access to their designers is always quick and responsive.
