#Changethedialogue

We are excited to share that our Blog, Making a Point, has been included as a Small Business Resource in a presentation this week at the annual AIA (American Institute of Architects) Conference. Their Small Firm Exchange had a Panel Discussion in San Fransisco, the site of this year’s conference, “Keeping Micro-businesses and Solopreneurs Relevant and Resilient”.

Per their Small Business Exchange, approximately 75% of all firms within the AIA are small firms, less than 10 employees, including the owner (s). That equates to over 14,000 businesses! And each of those can refer to the Panel’s Resource Guide, which includes Making a Point!

We recently spent some time in a large bookstore and were paralyzed by the number of book titles in the Business Section that read as follows: WAR, POWER, MONEY, RICH, Naval and Military Strategies for Business. It went on and on. Nowhere, could we locate any books that were intended to be helpful, somewhat humorous, and educational using a fun sporting dog as a metaphor, like our Blog. We are embarking on a new venture to #changethedialogue about Small and Micro Businesses. There is really no reason to not embrace a kind and helpful and, at times humurous, approach to running your firm. Join our movement! Spread the word and our link to Making A Point.

We are furever grateful to the Panel for including Making A Point as a reference for their 14,000+ small firm owners. After nearly four (4) years of writing our Blog, we have reached the start of a new, more public, more influential journey. We hope to see many of you along the way Making A Point with your own business!
